Dr Krishna Kodavali

Adviser for Physical and Neurological Rehabilitation

Dr Kodavali is a Consultant in Neurological Rehabilitation Medicine (MRCP, CCST-Rehabilitation Medicine) at the Isebrook Hospital (NHS) and Private Practice.

He specialises in the rehabilitation of brain injury, stroke, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and other neurological conditions. He has a particular interest in complex disability management, and elderly rehabilitation to promote independent living.

His expertise includes management of neuropathic pain, spasticity, upper limb function, mobility difficulties, continence management, and return to work.


Prof Rafey Faruqui

Professor Faruqui is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist in NHS and Private Practice. He is appointed as an Honorary Professor at the University of Kent. He has previously served as a member of Mental Health Specialized Clinical Reference Group at NHS England. He is a past chair of Neuropsychiatry Faculty at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is the editor of the Oxford Textbook of Neuropsychiatry.

He accepts clinical referrals related to neuropsychiatric aspects of head injury, brain injury, co-morbid psychiatric conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.


Dr Raja Somasuntram

Consultant in Neurological and Physical Rehabilitation

Dr. Somasuntram is a Consultant Physician & Clinical Lead in Rehabilitation Medicine at Northampton General Hospital. He specialises in Neurological and Amputee Rehabilitation and has a particular interest in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Stroke Rehabilitation and Spasticity Management.

He is an expert in the use of Botulinum toxin (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) for managing spasticity in a range of neurological conditions and assessing patients for their suitability for Intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) pump.
He also assesses patients who have dropped-foot due to MS, Stroke etc for their suitability for appropriate splints (Orthoses) and Functional Electrical Stimulator (FES).

He is an expert in assessing patients who have lost their limbs due to diabetes, vascular disease or trauma to appropriate artificial limbs and also advises on management of neurogenic and phantom pain.

Dr Somasuntram is a strong believer in Patient-Centred Care and having a Holistic Approach to management of complex neurological conditions, bladder & bowel problems in order to improve the quality of life of people with chronic conditions.


Dr Balaji Wuntakal

Adviser for Older Adults Mental Health, Dementia Care and Memory Assessment Service

Dr Balaji Wuntakal (MBBS, DPM, DNB (Psychiatry), MRCPsych, CCT in General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry) has dual qualifications in psychiatry with higher specialist training in UK and abroad. He has over 12 years of experience working as a consultant in old age psychiatry within NHS. His expertise includes assessments of mental health problems in late middle and older age, within the context of multimorbidity/frailty. His expertise in adult mental health gives him edge in assessing functional mental health problems in people with cognitive impairment.

He has specialist qualifications in undertaking mental capacity assessments in people with memory difficulties and these situations may include assessments for the purposes of court of protection as well for testamentary capacity, lasting powers of attorney and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. He has had formal training as expert witness and has provided fitness to plead and stand trial reports for patients with mental incapacity. He has experience in preparation of medico legal reports to courts representing older patients with various forms of mental health problems.

He is a postgraduate trainer in old age psychiatry and a regular medical teacher at Southampton Medical School and for Wessex deanery. He is a senior medical appraiser in the NHS and has held senior clinical leadership roles within community physical health & mental health services. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals in his specialist field as well as presentations at international conferences.


Dr Alia Faruqui

Adviser for General Practice and Chronic Disease Management

Dr Alia Faruqui (MBBS, MRCGP, DFSRH, PGCert Strategic Leadership and Multi-Professional Education  in Healthcare, PGDip Epidemiology) is a NHS GP and a GP trainer, CEF lead for Canterbury South PCN and Honorary Academic at Kent and Medway Medical School.

She is an experienced GP with over 14 years of experience in providing holistic care and in particular working with patients with complex care needs and chronic diseases.


Prof Aamer Sarfraz

Adviser for Adult Mental Health, ADHD, and Well-being

With 17 years’ experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS, Prof Aamer Sarfraz has expertise in General Adult Psychiatry (including Stress and anxiety management, ADHD, ASD) and Addiction Psychiatry. 

He trained and qualified from prestigious institutions (UCL, Kings, Maudsley/IOP) in London, and has worked in three continents, significantly contributing to patient care and health service delivery. Currently leading on Primary Care Networks and Trainee research, his previous challenge was to become a Medical Director at East London, and turn around a service under CQC special measures. 
 
He is a visiting Professor of Psychiatry at PMC and CCU, a founder of institutions, an advisor to governments, and a board member of organisations. He has authored multiple research papers, policies, protocols, and books on mental health. He is passionate about enhancing the quality and safety of mental health services, and advancing the field of psychiatry through innovation and collaboration.


Dr Babur Yousufi

Consultant Psychiatrist in Intellectual Disability with special interest in ADHD and ASD assessments

Adviser for Intellectual Disability and Neurodiversity

Dr Yousufi is an experienced consultant in intellectual disability psychiatry. He has particular expertise in assessment of people with suspected ADHD and autistic spectrum conditions. He completed his psychiatric training at Charing Cross Training Scheme in London. He works for National Health Service (NHS) and in private practice.

Dr Yousufi will be providing ADHD assessments for adults, in particular where co-occurring intellectual disability or a genetic syndrome has been diagnosed previously. He conducts mental health reviews as part of his ADHD assessment process and will be able to advise and signpost people accordingly.


Dr Muhammad Gul

Adviser for Child brain injury, Child and adolescent Psychiatry and ADHD/ ASD assessments in Children

Dr Muhammad Gul is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working for Midlands Partnership University N.H.S. Foundation Trust since 2012.

He completed General Psychiatry Training at St Mary’s General Psychiatry Training Scheme in London. He then went for higher Child & Adolescent Psychiatry training in the same training scheme linked with Imperial College London.

During his training, he obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in University Learning & Teaching from Imperial College London. He also has a Master in Research in Psychiatry, awarded by University College London. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Keele University and teaches medical students. He is also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy England and holds a Master’s in Medical Education from Keele University England.

He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (F.R.C.Psych). Dr Gul is Chair of the West Midlands Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, representing more than 1200 Consultant Psychiatrists.
Dr. Muhammad Gul is also an Associate Medical Director and Director of Medical Education for Midlands Partnership University N.H.S. Foundation Trust.
His area of clinical interest is Neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Complex Trauma. 


Dr Hina Khan

Adviser for Neurology

Dr Hina Khan (MBBS) is a consultant neurologist, and Dementia Clinical Research Fellow with extensive training and experience in neurology. She is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing neurological health. She specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative disorders. She has a sub-specialist interest in Cognitive Neurology, which includes conditions such as Young Onset Dementia. She is a member of the Association of British Neurologists’ Cognitive Neurology Special Interest Group.

Dr Asma Saad

General Practitioner

Dr Asma Saad is a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with over 12 years of delivering
compassionate, patient-centered care. Her approach to healthcare is holistic, emphasising
preventive care and evidence-based treatment to support long-term wellness and improved
health outcomes.

Throughout her career, she has developed a strong interest in managing chronic conditions
such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. She also provides lifestyle and preventive health
counselling, tailored to each individual’s needs.

In addition to her clinical practice, she served as the Lead Visiting GP for a nursing home,
specializing in the care of elderly patients with dementia and complex medical needs. This
role deepened her understanding of geriatric care and the unique challenges associated with
ageing and long-term health conditions.

She has a particular interest in clinical dermatology and women’s health, offering a wide range
of services from skin cancer screening to menstrual and reproductive health management. Her
goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and care they need to lead healthier lives.
