Common Questions

We are specialist doctors who work alongside case managers, treating therapy teams and other professionals, providing medical assessment, advice, and collaborative support as needed.

No. We are specialist doctors who work alongside case managers and other professionals, providing medical assessment, advice, and collaborative support as needed.

We support individuals with acquired brain injuries, complex trauma, neurological conditions such as stroke, and other disabilities requiring specialist medical input.

We offer a range of assessments and support. We require a referral from your GP or another treating clinician/therapist, case managers or solicitors – we cannot accept self-referrals. We do not deal with insurance companies directly, and the invoice will be sent to the case management company or solicitor/client for processing.

We are working on developing a Right to Choose pathway, but this is not available yet.

Yes. We are experienced in collaborating with NHS teams and other healthcare providers. Our role complements existing services to help coordinate care, fill gaps, and provide additional specialist expertise.

We aim to review new referrals promptly. Initial contact is usually within 2–3 working days, and appointments are scheduled as soon as convenient for the individual and their team.

Our input is usually funded through insurance claims, medico-legal processes, or private payment arrangements. We will provide clear cost information before any work begins.

(Right to Choose pathway is currently unavailable)

We primarily provide remote consultations via a secure video consultation platform, which allows us to support clients across the UK efficiently. In-person assessments may be arranged in specific circumstances where clinically necessary or at patient request.

Our care packages include virtual attendances at MDT meetings and case management reviews at designated times.

We send relevant clinical communication through case managers with the patient’s consent. Clinical communication from individual patient assessment appointments will be available at no extra cost. 3-monthly, 6-monthly, or yearly updates will incur additional charges at the rate agreed in care package documentation. We also offer joint meetings to ensure everyone involved is aligned on the client’s care and progress.
